특히 개최장소인 송도국제도시는 국제기후기금(GCF)의 사무국의 유치가 결정된 곳으로서
친환경적이며 미래지향적인 도시를 완성해 나아가고 있습니다.
잠시 후에 보시게 될 인천광역시의 홍보 동영상은 변화된 인천의 위상과 발전을 눈으로 확인하는 좋은 계기가 될 것입니다.
인천은 과거 대한민국 최초로 서양 문물이 유입되던 곳이었으며 1893년 한국 최초로 치과의원이 개원한 곳이기도 합니다.
대한민국 치과 의료의 발상지인 인천에서 본 대회를 개최하게 되어 매우 뜻 깊게 생각 하고 있습니다.
급변하는 치과기자재의 발전과 치과재료의 변화는 점차 디지털화되어가며 우리에게 새로운 패러다임으로 다가오고 있습니다.
따라서 금번 회의가 치과산업의 표준을 제시하고 결과적으로 치과계의 발전에 크게 기여할 것을 확신합니다.

Ladies, and Gentlemen, as the representative of Incheon Dental Association (IDA),
-Good afternoon Ladies, and Gentlemen,
I am Dr. Lee, Sang Ho.
As President or representative of Incheon Dental Association (IDA),
I'm so proud and glad to welcome you all to the 49th Annual meeting of ISO/TC 106 Dentistry.
The Incheon Dental Association, an organization composed of 800 dentist members,
is always preparing for the future under the slogan ‘To the World, To the Future.’
- The Incheon Dental Association(IDA) is comprised of more than 800 dentists as its members that have been tring to be up and act for the bright future with its slogan ‘Into the World, facing the Future.’
Incheon will be hosting the 2014 Asian Games and is the hub of Northeast Asia with Incheon International Airport as the center.
- Incheon is the host for The 2014 Asian game, has been invigorated as business central hub of Northeast Asia.
Especially, Songdo International City is an eco-friendly and future-oriented city where GCF’s executive office will be built.
-Especially, Songdo City in Incheon where GCF’s executive office will be built,
is designed and developed for one of the Lagest and Greenest City for a Sustainable Future,
and there will be an opening place for Asian game.
Incheon’s promotional video that you will be seeing shortly will serve as an opportunity to witness Incheon’s current status and development.
- Following Incheon’s promotional video after my speech, will give a clear introduction about Incheon’s current status and development.
In the past, Incheon was first to accept the Western culture and trade in Korea.
It was also where Korea’s first dentist opened in 1893.
-Incheon used to be the first place in Korea to accept and adapt foreign influx such as the Western culture and trade, so that, also in Incheon, there was Korea’s first mordern dentist opened in 1893.

We are very grateful to host this meeting in Incheon where Korea’s dental history had started.
-Rapidly changes and development of dental material, its manipulating concept, and digitalization in dentistry lead paradigm shift continues.
Therefore, I do not doubt that this meeting will suggest reasonable, and proper global standard for the dental industry and eventually contribute greatly to it.
