인천광역시치과의사회(Incheon Dental Association, IDA) 를 대표해서, 인천에서 개최되는 49th Annual Meeting of ISO/TC 106 Dentistry에 참가하시는 전 세계의 모든 분들을 진심으로 환영합니다.
인천광역시치과의사회 800여명의 치과의사회원들로 구성되어 있으며 '세계로 미래로’란 구호 아래 항상 미래를 준비하는 자세를 견지해 오고 있습니다.
인천은 2014년 아시안게임의 개최를 앞두고 있으며 인천국제공항을 중심으로 동북아시아를 대표하는 허브도시로서 위치를 굳건히 하고 있는 도시입니다.
특히 개최장소인 송도국제도시는 국제기후기금(GCF)의 사무국의 유치가 결정된 곳으로서 친환경적이며 미래지향적인 도시를 완성해 나아가고 있습니다.
잠시 후에 보시게 될 인천광역시의 홍보 동영상은 변화된 인천의 위상과 발전을 눈으로 확인하는 좋은 계기가 될 것입니다.
인천은 과거 대한민국 최초로 서양 문물이 유입되던 곳이었으며 1893년 한국 최초로 치과의원이 개원한 곳이기도 합니다.
대한민국 치과 의료의 발상지인 인천에서 본 대회를 개최하게 되어 매우 뜻 깊게 생각 하고 있습니다.
급변하는 치과기자재의 발전과 치과재료의 변화는 점차 디지털화되어가며 우리에게 새로운 패러다임으로 다가오고 있습니다.
따라서 금번 회의가 치과산업의 표준을 제시하고 결과적으로 치과계의 발전에 크게 기여할 것을 확신합니다.
다시 한 번 여러분들의 방문을 환영하며, 인천에 머무는 동안 좋은 추억을 많이 가져가시길 기원합니다. 감사합니다.
Good afternoon! Ladies, and Gentlemen,
I am Dr. Lee, Sang Ho.
As a president or representative of Incheon Dental Association (IDA), I'm so proud and glad to welcome all of you to the 49th Annual meeting of ISO/TC 106 Dentistry.
The Incheon Dental Association(IDA) is comprised of more than 800 dentists ,as its members, that have been trying to be up and act for the bright future with its slogan ‘For the World, For the Future.’
Incheon is the host for The 2014 Asian games, has been invigorated as business central hub of Northeast Asia.
Especially, Songdo City in Incheon is designed and developed for one of the Lagest and Greenest business City in the world for a Sustainable Future.
That's why the executive office of Green Climate Fund (GCF) from United nations will be built in Songdo City, and there will be opening Ceremony for Asian Games, too.
Following Incheon’s promotional video after my speech, will give a clear introduction about Incheon’s current status and development.
Incheon used to be the first place in Korea to accept and adapt foreign influx such as the Western culture and trade, so that first mordern Korean dental clinic opened in this city in 1893.
We are very grateful to host this meeting in Incheon where Korean modern dental history had begun.
In these days, rapid changes depending on advancement in dental technology such as dental material, its manipulating concept, digitalization, and then some force paradigm shift to continue also rapidly.
Therefore, obviously, we know this meeting is very important.
But, I‘m very sure this meeting will suggest reasonable, and proper global standard for the dental industry, and ,eventually, that will contribute greatly.
Once again, I do welcome everyone of you and hope everyone to cherish your own great memories during your staying in Incheon.
